A hut of his own

Kyle is a New Camp worker who built a hut for himself after finding every other spot in camp occupied. He was warned not to build where he did, but says he had no real alternative if he wanted a home of his own.

A door through the wall

When Kyle returned from the mine after finishing construction, he found that people had cut a second door straight through the hut. They had turned his home into a shortcut and continued running through it as if they owned the place.

Kyle's anger is not about one careless visitor; it is about the camp treating the only space he controls as public property.

The camp's thoroughfare

Kyle repeatedly tells the Hero to stop using the hut as a passage and asks how many times he has to make the same complaint. His profile offers no larger factional role, but the dispute records a familiar New Camp tension: shared work and crowded ground leave little room for privacy, and the person who claims a corner may still have to defend it every day.
