Killian is a rogue in the Colony wilderness. His own conversation is almost entirely a refusal to speak with the Hero, so his role is clearer from the surrounding camp business than from his speeches.
The swampweed operation
Killian appears in the same story thread as Jacko and Renyu, the group producing herb rolls outside the Swamp Camp entrance. Cor Kalom wants that rival operation shut down, while the group's movements and guards make it a problem the Hero cannot solve by asking politely.
A hostile presence
When the Hero approaches, Killian's only recorded reply is a blunt dismissal. That line does not establish whether he leads the group or merely belongs to it, so the safest description is a hostile rogue associated with the operation, not its public spokesman.
