The gate to Corristo
Rodriguez watches the entrance to the Fire Mages' restricted area. He stops ordinary visitors and explains that only Fire Mages or Corristo's guests may enter, but he is also capable of recognising people whose work has already reached the master.
Corristo's invitation
When the Hero has helped with the Swamp Camp ritual, Rodriguez acknowledges that Corristo wants to meet him and allows him upstairs. For a general request to see the highest Fire Mage, however, he sends the Hero to Milten, who handles the messengers.
After Milten leaves to speak with the master, Rodriguez fills in at the entrance and keeps the same boundary in place.
