Gor Na Toth

Templar · Swamp Camp

"His wish shell be me command! Onwards, Gor Na Toth! A holy quist awaits you!"

Cor Angar's attention

Gor Na Toth is an aspiring templar who measures himself by Cor Angar's attention. When the Hero jokingly claims that Angar called him unworthy of templar armor, Toth reacts with alarm, insisting that Angar would never say that—not about him.

He is desperate enough for a sign that even a stray remark can become a mission.

A holy quest

When the Hero says that Cor Angar hates swampsharks, Gor Na Toth takes it as a direct order and rushes off to hunt them. Later, when the Hero reports that Angar merely wants him to return once he becomes a templar, Toth is amazed that his mentor noticed him at all.

He says Angar hardly speaks to anyone and that the last personal conversation was two months ago.

Learning the templar's craft

Once Toth becomes a templar, he can provide the armor he had been striving toward and teach the Hero about strength, dexterity, and one-handed weapons. He stresses posture, momentum, continuous sequences of blows, and the crossguard's use in a parry.

For better armor, however, he still sends the Hero to Darrion at the forge: his authority is martial, not smithing.

What other NPCs say

Cor Angar sends the Hero to Gor Na Toth after the Hero earns his templar armor. The reference is an administrative moment, but it shows that Gor Na Toth is trusted to confirm rank and deliver the equipment that marks a fighter's new status.
