  • Joining the Mercenaries: After you help Myxir with the old book, Lee gives you the final test for mercenary rank: protect Myxir while he follows magical vibrations along the beach. Stay with Myxir until he traces the signal to the wreck. Return the book to Myxir, then speak to Lee.

What other NPCs say

Lee mentions Myxir while explaining that the Water Mages sensed unusual magic near the coast. The reference is not about ordinary camp work: it is used as evidence that the New Camp's mages are investigating something beyond their immediate territory and that Myxir's perception is trusted in that investigation.
