Outcome

Syra waits for the right moment once she knows where both women stand.

A refuge spoken of in whispers

Syra is not planning to disappear alone. She has heard that the Swamp Camp may offer women more safety than the Old Camp, but she knows that a rumor is not enough to risk a life. Velaya and Seraphia have to be asked directly, and their answers have to return to Syra before the plan can move.

Velaya is ready almost immediately. Her willingness carries a clear understanding of the danger: the warders might kill them if they are caught, but staying also means accepting whatever the next guard decides to do. Seraphia hesitates because she is thinking about that punishment, not because she does not understand the appeal of leaving.

Silence is part of the escape

The hero's role is deliberately quiet. No gate has to be forced and no guard has to be defeated; the mission is to carry information without letting the wrong person hear it. Syra warns that a tip-off would destroy the plan, making secrecy a practical form of protection for people who have almost none.

When the hero reports back, Syra accepts that Velaya is in and that Seraphia needs time. She will wait for the right moment rather than drag an uncertain companion into a flight. That patience is not indecision. It is the only way the three women can leave together without turning one another's fear into a trap.

The fragile promise of another camp

The escape connects the private lives of three women to the colony's factional map. The Swamp Camp may be safer, but it is not a guaranteed sanctuary, and the Old Camp's guards can make the journey fatal. By gathering their answers, the hero helps turn a rumor into a shared possibility—one that will survive only as long as everyone keeps it hidden.
