  • Meet Gorn at the abandoned monastery. Before going inside, clear the snapper den in the ravine and use that route to look for an entrance.
  • The front gate is too strong to force, but Gorn can cover you while you explore. He uses a meatbug transformation to get through the tight route.
  • Take the focus from the ruins and tell Gorn before returning it to Saturas.

A forgotten house of Adanos

Gorn identifies the ruins as an old monastery of Adanos, abandoned long before the Barrier. The front gate is too strong to break and the walls are too steep to climb, so the hero and Gorn begin in the ravine, where a snapper den has made the approach dangerous. Clearing the beasts is both protection and investigation: their presence suggests a route into a place no one has maintained for generations.

Gorn has heard that the monks were shapeshifters, like the druids of Myrtana. The knowledge is fragmentary, but it gives the ruin a character beyond an empty building. The monastery once belonged to people who treated transformation as part of their spiritual practice, and the focus is now buried among the remains of that tradition.

Strength outside, subtlety inside

When the hidden way requires a smaller form, Gorn uses a meatbug transformation to pass through the tight route. He then stays behind to cover the hero while the search continues. The arrangement lets the mercenary's strength protect a mission that ultimately depends on looking carefully through forgotten rooms.

Returning the focus to Saturas gives credit to both the finder and the companion who made the route possible. The monastery expedition shows the Water Mages' plan reaching beyond their own camp, with a New Camp fighter helping recover the remains of an older order whose power may be essential to everyone's freedom.
