Route

  • After the Swamp Camp ritual fails, Saturas asks for the four remaining focus stones. Diego, Gorn, Lester, and Milten each offer help at the marked meeting point.
  • The four branch guides cover the mountain fortress, stone circle, monastery ruins, and troll canyon. Finish each branch, then bring every stone to Saturas.
  • Talk to Cronos after the complete hand-in for the reserve-nugget reward.

Outcome

All five focus stones are assembled for the Water Mages' Barrier ritual.

After the ritual fails

The search for the focus stones begins after the Brotherhood's ritual fails to deliver the freedom it promised. Saturas does not abandon the idea of breaking the Barrier, but he changes its foundation. The first stone, recovered for Y'Berion, and the four still scattered across the Colony must be gathered before the Water Mages can attempt their own solution.

The request is also a new kind of alliance. Diego, Gorn, Lester, and Milten each offer to guide one branch, bringing together a Shadow, a mercenary, a novice touched by the stones, and a surviving Fire Mage. The plan is too dangerous for one camp to own, so its success depends on people who once served different powers choosing to work side by side.

Four ruins, one shared history

Each route reveals a different face of the Colony's past: a fortress hidden behind books, a crypt sealed by the dead, a monastery of shapeshifters, and a canyon guarded by a troll. The stones are not lying in a single vault waiting for a single hero. They are embedded in places where old knowledge, monsters, and forgotten magic have kept them out of human hands.

The hero's role is to connect those expeditions. The companions know how to reach the sites, but the final burden still falls on the person willing to enter each one, recover its power, and carry it back to Saturas.

A plan that belongs to everyone

When all five stones are assembled, the Water Mages can finally prepare the Barrier ritual. The complete set gives the camps their clearest chance at freedom, while the reserve reward from Cronos acknowledges the material cost of sending their best people into danger. The deeper reward is collective: the stones turn scattered knowledge and old rivalries into a single plan.
