  • Cor Kalom sends you to Y'Berion after Caine's death, treating the audience itself as the main reward. Follow the Swamp Camp directions until you reach Y'Berion and Baal Lukor.

Outcome

The meeting opens the Brotherhood's focus-stone quest line.

An audience treated as an honor

Cor Kalom sends the hero to meet Y'Berion after Caine's death, but he does not present the audience as ordinary work. In Kalom's view, standing before the Brotherhood's master is reward enough for an outsider who has carried out the camp's requests. The hero enters Temple Square under the weight of that expectation, accompanied by Baal Lukor and the sense that few people are granted this access.

Y'Berion already knows the hero from a vision. That recognition changes the meeting from an interrogation into a moment of spiritual significance for the Brotherhood. The camp has spent years waiting for signs from the Sleeper, and its leader sees a newcomer appearing at the right moment with a dead novice's strange object in hand.

Caine's death becomes a key

The hero tells Y'Berion about the tomb, the undead orc, and the vision that led Caine there. Y'Berion does not treat the story as an isolated tragedy. He recognizes the amulet as a key to the next task and explains that the Brotherhood needs a focus stone for the Great Awakening, even though its forcefield has defeated every earlier attempt to reach one.

The object therefore carries Caine's last mistake into the Brotherhood's greatest hope. Y'Berion believes the hero can do what the novices could not, and sends them toward Nyras and the focus site. The meeting gives the hero authority as a personal envoy while placing them inside the ritual's growing danger.

The beginning of a new allegiance

Y'Berion's trust opens the focus-stone storyline and changes how the Brotherhood sees the hero. The hero remains an outsider, but an outsider the master believes the Sleeper has chosen. That belief will make future successes easier to accept—and make the consequences of failure far more painful when the ritual finally tests what the Brotherhood has been hearing.
